Patron’s Dinner for The Nashville Ballet

Pink roses for Nutcracker dinner

Pink roses for Nutcracker dinner

I totally forgot that I had received these photos from an event we designed in December! This dinner was honoring the Patrons of The Nashville Ballet, and as you can tell, it took place on the stage at TPAC, prior to the opening night of The Nutcracker. If you attended the Nutcracker this year, you saw changes in scenery, etc., as it depicted Nashville in the late 1800’s. This scene took place in a rose garden (all pink) of the Parthenon in Nashville. So even though it was December, and cold outside, just as the magic of theater will do, the stage was warm with pink roses in this Nashville garden scene. We used our iron footed urns and filled them with moss…and massed 50 pink roses in each…with the petals of 30 pink roses at the base of each, to give the lush garden feel.  Since we just had a snow last night….this should give you a hint and feel of spring that is just around the corner!  Nashville will be blooming again!
